Location Information (GPS & Network) Crucial for Functionality: To provide the core feature of the Service (finding the Qibla direction and calculating accurate daily Prayer Times), our app requires access to your device's precise and approximate location (GPS and Network-based) while you are actively using the App. Local Processing & Saved Coordinates: The App does not actively track your location in the background. Instead, it saves your last known coordinates locally on your device. These saved coordinates are then used by the app's internal schedulers (like AlarmManager) to perform purely mathematical calculations in the background so it can accurately trigger your daily prayer time alerts. We do not store your location history on our servers, nor do we share your exact location coordinates with third parties. Sensors Data The app accesses your device's sensors (Magnetometer, Accelerometer) to determine the compass orientation. This data is used strictly for the compass functionality and Haptic Feedback (Vibration) features and is processed locally in real-time. Alarms and Notifications To ensure reliable prayer time alerts, the App requests permission to post notifications and set exact alarms (specifically for Android 12 and above). This allows the App to wake up your device at exactly the correct calculated prayer time, even when the App is closed or the device is rebooted. This is completely local to your device and requires no external servers. In-App Purchases and Billing Our App offers premium features available via In-App Purchases (such as Ad Removal). We utilize the secured Google Play Billing Library to process these transactions. We do not collect, process, or store your payment details (like Credit Card numbers). All transactions are securely handled by Google Play. Advertising and Data Collection The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, specifically for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising purposes. To serve contextual and targeted advertisements, the App utilizes your device's Android Advertising ID. You can reset or opt-out of personalized advertising inside your Android Device Settings.
